Dear Friends and Vacationers,
Here are some of the exciting things there is to do and experience
at Winjum's Shady Acres Resort of Faribault: Fishing, either off one of our 8 docks or bring your boat and lake hop. You can also rent one of our pontoons or fishing boats (see our watercraft rates).
Keep your kids or grandkids entertained with our basketball court, shuffle board court, horseshoe pit and very nice swimming area, located very close to our cabins. We also have lots of green
area to set up your favorite lawn games!
Experience the great food and fun atmosphere of our newly remodeled restaurant and bar, where there area specials every lunch and diner. No need to
haul so many groceries. Ask about our European Package to go with your cabin stay. The lodge also has pull-tabs, billiards, darts and more. Check out our menu, you won't be disappointed!
We can furnish you with firewood, propane, gas, beer, ice and more... If we don't have something you need, it's never a
far drive to get it!
It's never too far from ShadyAcres to another exciting destination... Mall of America, Valley Fair Amusement Park, Cabellas, lots of paved bike trails, Minnesota Zoo, the Vikings and new Twins Stadium, Faribault also can boast of several adventures. Finally after a long day, pull-up your lawn chairs and relax right
on the west shore of our lake. Have a fire and roast some marshmellows
before retiring happily for the evening... Sleep tight.
